My yoga journey started with my own healing. When I had my son, I went from a full-time workaholic to a frazzled full-time mom with a nagging back pain. Yoga helped me to relieve the pain. I was happier, stronger and more confident. When I realized that yoga helped me so much more than just on the physical level, I wanted to share the benefits of yoga with as many people as I can through teaching.

For the past 16 years, I have been teaching yoga to people of all ages with different experience levels and abilities at yoga studios, schools, libraries, community centers, parks and corporations, as well as online and private sessions. Seeing others feeling lighter and grounded after each class, and hearing stories of their health improving makes my heart sing.

My training in yoga, meditation, Qi Gong, Tai Chi and energy healing for over 20 years helps me assess the energy of each 

class and deliver mindful movements that allow students with different abilities and fitness levels to benefit from the session. By learning meridian stretching, acupressure massage and different healing techniques in each class, students are able to improve their health and wellbeing, thus speed up recovery from any “dis-eases” caused by stressful life styles. 

I like to keep a light atmosphere in class so students can relax their mind, release tired energy while strengthening their core. I encourage everyone to tune into their body and breath, and to do the best they can in each moment. I remind everyone to breathe out, smile and say “I can do it!” especially when postures get challenging. The more we practice to be our own best cheerleaders on the mat, the more this positive attitude can show up in our daily lives. That positive energy can also uplift those around us. We can do it!
